Salamanda is a band from Vienna, Austria, that plays mainly
medieval music but also likes to play Irish music.
The group
was founded in 2007 by 3 of us and expanded to 5
musicians in 2008 and to 6 musicians in 2015.
We play a richly varied repertoire
including old tradional pieces and new compositions. We play
a few of our
own pieces too. Maybe we'll see you at the next medieval
festival.
